Hello knitters!
Today we want to show you how to make Knot Stitch.
It’s a very simple technique, even if it looks a bit difficult while knitting your wool scarves, snoods and sweaters. Use Knot Stitch on all you WAK projects!
How to start knitting this amazing technique? 🙂
1. Cast on a number of stitches that have to be a multiple of 3 + 1 stitch.
2. Cast on the first 3 stitches with your right WAK needle and take the thread in front of the needle. You need to finish, removing the right needle under the stitches and leaving only 1 stitch onto the same needle.
3. Pass again the thread through your right needle and take the next 3 stitches from the left needle. Leaving the stitches on the right needle without knitting them, take the thread through the right needle. Put out the needle below, keeping only 3 stitches on your right needle.
4. Now you need to take out the stitches from your left needle.
