Hi knitters!
Today we are teaching you a new technique to try with your two wooden WAK needles… The cross stitch! This stitch is very similar to herringbone stitch and it will look great on your knitted wool bags or accessories.
You just have to cast on any number of stitches (in multiples of two) onto one of your wooden WAK needle.
In every row, slip the first stitch and knit the last stitch.
Row 1: *insert the needle into the first stitch from behind and knit the second stitch without taking it off the left needle, knit the first stitch*. Repeat from * to *
Row 2: purl a stitch, *insert the needle into the next stitch from the front and purl the following stitch that you slipped purlwise*, purl a stitch. Repeat from * to *
Repeat these two rows until you have the necessary length for your garment.

To make this tutorial we used 15 mm wooden needles and WE ARE KNITTERS 100% wool.
