How to change your ball while crocheting

Today we are going to show you a very useful technique: how to do change to a new ball doing crochet.

It is very common that while crocheting, you have change the ball and start over in the middle of your WAK crochet design. We want to explain how to change the ball as easily as possible and without any imperfections so that your crocheted pieces look flawless!

It is very simple to do: you need to fuse both threads and start crocheting them as only one.

Like on this pic, place opposite side with opposite side.

You’ll notice a little the change but only due to the fact that the thread is going to be thicker than before. Do not worry! This change will only last 3 or 4 stitches.

Like we can appreciate on the last pic, a bit of thread will be left over. You simply need to cut it to finish this useful and strong technique.

We hope to see your results on Instagram with the hashtag #weareknitters.

For this post we have used a crochet needle and 100% Peruvian wool in fuchsia
