In today’s post we teach you how to knit a quick point with great texture, perfect for accessories such as bags, baskets or woven backpacks, which will surely be your best travel companions now in summer. All knitters carry a ball of yarn and a pair of needles to start knitting any time and place. So, take yours out because we are going to start with the explanation of this beautiful stitch:
For this step-by-step tutorial we used a skein of our Recycled Yarn and our size 8 (5mm) beechwood needles.

Now we can get started!
Start by casting on a multiple of 3 stitches + 1 stitch.
Row 1 (right side): start the row by knitting 1 stitch, then *yarn over, slip 1, knit 2, pass the slipped stitch over the 2 knit stitches*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.

Row 2 (wrong side): start the row by purling 1 stitch, then *yarn over, slip 1, purl 2, pass the slipped stitch over the 2 purl stitches*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row. To continue knitting this stitch you just have to repeat rows 1 and 2 as many times needed to reach your desired length.
