Hi Knitters!
When you are crochting a stitch, you normally introduce your crochet hook into the two loops of a stitch. Have you ever tried only introducing it into the back loop? This technique is called “Back Loop“ (surprise!) and will give your projects an interesting texture.
So, what will this look like? In our sample, we have been alternating between rows of normal stitches and back loop only stitches. As you can see this has created this interesting pattern. How do you like it?

For this post we have used 15mm crochet needles and 100% Peruvian wool in turquoise .
So, what are you waiting for, knitters? Try out the back loop stitch and show us your results on Instagram using the hashtag #weareknitters 🙂
